Our Classes

I Beginning Piano

The goals of beginning piano are to learn how to read music, count out loud, use a
metronome and play and perform some simple pieces. Also, student play duets from
the first lesson. I use the lesson books from Piano Adventures to accomplish this. I also
supplement Piano Adventures with elementary sheet music from time to time.

II Intermediate Piano

When the student has completed Piano Adventures 2B he or she will be able to play
a lot of fun music. This includes pop, jazz, movie songs and elementary classical
pieces. Examples of repertoire include
